// PRE_FLIGHT_CHECKLIST :: READ BEFORE APPLYING

Before You Apply

There are a few things you'll need to have in place before joining the Academy. Please read through the requirements below before registering your interest.

Students must have a basic understanding of how to use a computer, including navigating files and folders, using a web browser, and basic typing skills.
Parents must ensure students are fit and able to participate in the program and will download any required materials ahead of classes.
Students must have access to a working laptop or desktop computer to attend classes. We will be using simple assets so most students should be able to meet this requirement.
No rude behavior to staff or other students will be tolerated in the Academy. Removal from a program may occur for violations.
Ideally, students should move from the Squire tier to the Knight tier after demonstrating proficiency, some exceptions may apply for more advanced students.

Squire

Learn the basics of coding for games through Python
Find out how to make your own simple art and animations
Create your first simple game!

// TIER_02 :: INTERMEDIATE

Knight

After becoming a Squire, we'll move onto more complex Python and game development concepts.
You'll work in a team and learn how to collaborate on game development projects.
You'll also learn about version control and how to manage code repositories.

Paladin

When we have enough interested students, we will start the Paladin tier
We will discuss a quest to truely test you and your fellow Knights!
